animating Saturn
the scapegoat and the protector
earlier this week, Chiron stationed retrograde in the first degree of Taurus, catalysing the start of a five-month journey with our deepest wounds weβre holding in our body, and our individuality. for clarity on how this will move through your story, book a reading. I'll get all up in your chart about it.
& to prevent those wounds from wreaking havoc on your intimate relationships, book a Venus session to collapse the projections youβre casting on your friends and lovers.
as ever, for ongoing community support in your liberatory becoming, creating a Self that makes empire obsolete, and individuating away from capitalism and patriarchy⦠step inside REWILDING.
hi beloved.
this little essay is part of an ongoing contemplation of Saturn and the Dark Mother as the medicine our death-starved culture desperately needs.
Iβd recommend you read all the rest (& more to come) for a deeper understanding of Saturn and the poetry of decay, thresholds, (decolonised) discipline, and pragmatism as devotion.
Saturn is a mythology I am intimately familiar with. I am speaking of her very much From The Inside. depending on the house system you use, Saturn falls in either my first (Whole House) or my twelfth (Placidus) house, and either way, heβs hanging out real close to my Ascendant and natal South Node, sextiling my Uranus, and opposing my Chiron.
even if you donβt have strong Saturnian influence in your own chart, read this essay for an in-depth exploration of how to mythologise decay and harvest the wisdom found in the ongoing Becoming of Selfhood, and the connection to the All That Is.
Saturn moves in the spaces between the Not Yet Real, and the Real. he asks questions about what weβre willing to take seriously, and how far weβre willing to go to move from mere philosophisingβ¦ to embodiment. when you say you desire freedom, pleasure, joy, and the interconnected liberation of all of us from the clutches of empireβ¦ Saturn asks if you mean it.
love you so much.
